So, I made a mistake. Not a huge one, but one Im rather happy to have now noticed (AND FIXED), but one that needs a touch of explanation.
The paypal shopping cart here, for those attempting to purchase readings or work, was accidentally left set to the Websales@KCConjure email address of the shop I created/co-owned in Kansas City and left last April.
Apparently, the other shop owners never felt it necessary to TELL ME that they were collecting payment for my services, without notifying me that those services had even been purchased. (Today, someone kindly wrote directly to me to ask about when I’d be getting back to them to schedule their appointment, prompting the “where’s the money going?” and the discovery of the wrong setting.)
I am RIDICULOUSLY sorry for anyone else who has gotten stuck in this loop; the recipients of the money chose not to tell me that there was a waiting queue of readings nor work. I have no idea whether or not they bothered even to contact people who had made purchases in error, nor if there was anything communicated to customers about the misunderstanding.
